Thank you for visiting RC Scale Model. Owned and operated by two retirees who wanted to do something fun, interesting and rewarding during their retirement. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to review the products that we've carefully reviewed and tested from manufacturers around the world. We've selected only the best of each model to offer to our customers. We understand, now more than ever, that few have the time or expertise to build complicated radio controlled models. Although we still offer some of the best model kits available for those who still enjoy building their own ready to run ships and subs, we wanted to apply more focus on providing our customers with RTR (Ready to Run) products that have traditionally been available as "Build Only" kits. Many of the custom made, RTR ships and subs we offer have been priced at many thousands of dollars. In addition, waiting six to twelve months to receive the item was the norm. Our goal is to make change in that tradition by offering custom made RTR items for less money and in a more acceptable timeframe, without compromising the quality to which hobbyists have become accustomed. When ordering, please note that each of our ships and subs are custom built, by hand, and can take 15-45 days to complete. Often, we have ships and subs in stock, however, we recommend you check with us about current inventory and/or build time for your particular ship or sub, prior to ordering. We believe being up front with you about anticipated build time is the best way of doing business as it is our goal to provide you with the best customer service possible. As stated, we will still offer the complete "Build
Only" kits for the many hobbyists that enjoy the additional
challenge, however, regardless of Build Only kits or RTR, we promise
to provide you with a diverse range of both kits and RTR radio controlled
warships, civilian boats and ships, tugboats, fishing boats and
sailboats. We now offer the full line of Graupner and Robbe products
as well, including airplane kits, airplane ARF's and airplane RTF's.
